NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Unified Board of Zoning Appeals will conduct a public hearing to consider the matter described below. The Unified Board of Zoning Appeals hearing on this matter will be held at 12:00 noon on Wednesday, February 11, 2026 in the Unified Board of Zoning Appeals Meeting Room on the ground floor of the Wells Fargo Bank building located at 201 South Hamilton Street, Dalton, Georgia.
SUBJECT OF HEARING: A request for a variance from Chart 3.7 of the Unified Zoning Ordinance to allow an encroachment into the front building setback for an outbuilding on a parcel in the R-5, Rural Residential zoning district. Said parcel is located at 2466 Miracle Drive, Rocky Face, Georgia, and is designated as Tax Parcel 12-306-30-000. The applicant is Michelle Burnecke and the owners are Tony & Michelle Burnecke.
